AN INTERVIEW WITH ANGELINA...
1. What three adjectives would you say best describe you?
Loving. Outgoing. Joyful!
2. So, Angelina, I
hear you’re the life of the party. You love to laugh and enjoy making fun
memories. What are your greatest joys in life?
Family, music, friends and worship!
3. There are so many
different religions out there. How did you come to know Jesus as your Savior?
Trial and error, LOL. Through a lot of searching, a lot of
different religions, I realized that Christianity was the Way and is the only
religion that truly satisfies my spiritual needs. God has always been faithful
to me even when I wasn’t faithful to him.
4. What is your
favorite Bible verse?
Isaiah 52:1-2
This is my favorite because it reminds me whenever I feel
beaten down that God encourages me to wake up and clothe myself in strength. When
I closed my eyes to the amazing blessings God put in front of me He called me
to wake up and see Him. I also feel like my generation has so much potential,
but needs to wake up and know God and know the strength and salvation he can
actually give us.
5. Missionary work
seems to be part of your heartbeat. Have you been on any other mission trips?
If so, tell us about it.
I went to Guatemala and that was literally the most amazing
experience I’ve ever had. I learned a lot. I learned how to appreciate
everything I have. I also learned that mission work is what I want to do with
my life. It taught me how to love people and accept them for who they are and
not how much money they have, even if they don’t have the ability to bathe. You
can take people and love them for who they are and not their appearance. That
trip opened my eyes to different ways of looking at life.
6. Rumor has it
you’re a good Christian girl who likes to live on the edge. What’s the craziest
thing on your bucket list?
Oh geez. Um, I don’t know there’s a lot of crazy, Lol. I
really, really want to go spelunking. It’s like cave diving. Basically it’s
like exploring a huge cave that’s super deep and you can jump into it with a parachute
into a body of water.
7. What do you hope
to share with the Internet world on this blog?
Just different ways of looking at people and realize that
we’re not the center of the world. There’s so much more out there and so many
different ways to love on people. I also want to shed light on the needs around
the world and share the message that people can change lives, not only by traveling
abroad, but also just by loving the people right in front of you. I want to just
give people hope.
